I whisper to the night
Hoping that it reaches you in time
Before you lay yourself to sleep
So once again you'll dream of me
I whisper softly to every star
To shine on you wherever you are
And to the Lord I pray to guide your way
As you wake up everyday
I whisper to the angels, as I think of you,
That I'm so glad you love me too
And, even though, I'm not by your side
I need you to know you are my light
I whisper to the shadows that hang on my walls
That in your arms I know I belong
And one day I'm sure you will be
Laying next to me before I sleep
These whispers of love that are meant for you
Will never reach the depths of my feelings
That run so true
But in the best way I pray you can feel
