Poem of the Day
Rays Of Light
Rays of light frolic through the meadow
While gusts of wind stroll across the plain.
The essence of morning peep around the trees,
Just waiting to engulf the dull, lifeless blossoms.
When the sun rises o'er the dark pink horizon,
Loving rays of light come to give us true life.
All creatures who abide in the virtuous atmosphere
Come out to breathe in the morning air.
They give thanks to the light for giving them day
Along with gifts of warmth and happiness.
And since the night has cowered under light,
Even the lowliest creatures would voice their gratitude.
But when night comes again to cover the meadow,
Some of the light stays in the form of the moon.
It watches over all who bask in its glory
And is ready to protect from the powers of dark.
So in the moon, some rays of light still remain
To be the confidant of all who believe.
