Falling Leaves
A leaf falls . . .
from an errant elbow's downward thrust;
toppled burgundy christens snowy linen
and the dodging laps of suits and gowns.
A leaf falls . . .
to an eager reader's sudden frustration
at a maddening mystery's imminent unveiling
on a time-loosened final page.
A leaf falls . . .
amid blazing autumn glory unseen
by dodgers of life's indoor spills
and chasers of fanciful mysteries.

La.i tha^'y o^ng ddo^` gia`
Ba`y mu+.c ta`u gia^'y ddo?
Be^n pho^' ddo^ng ngu+o+`i qua.
Bao nhie^u ngu+o+`i thue^ vie^'t
Ta^'m ta('c ngo+.i khen ta`i
"Hoa tay tha?o nhu+~ng ne't
Nhu+ phu+o+.ng mu'a ro^`ng bay".
Nhu+ng mo^~i na(m mo^~i va('ng
Ngu+o+`i thue^ vie^'t nay dda^u ?
Gia^'y ddo? buo^`n kho^ng tha('m
Mu+.c ddo.ng trong nghie^n sa^`u...
